Mission

FOUNDED IN 2009 BY OXBRIDGE AND IVY LEAGUE GRADUATES

ARCH Education is an expert educational institute based in Hong Kong with a mission to bridge the education gap through delivering transformational programs and providing expert guidance on international education, to equip students for their future educational and career goals.

Jennifer Ma, co-founder of ARCH, attended local school in Hong Kong, and then boarding school in the UK before graduating with First Class Honors from the University of Oxford.

Both of them returned to Hong Kong in 2002 and after over 7 years in investment banking, they were inspired by their career exposure and years of commitment to and continued affiliation with their boarding schools and universities; and decided to embark into the field of education.

By drawing upon their uniquely different yet highly complementary educational paths, their mission is to help students bridge their education gaps. At ARCH, they hope that students will gain skills and experiences that will take them through their academic journey and beyond, into life!

Academics

We enhance your academic performance through our onsite and online tutoring, which covers test preparation (UKiset, Common Entrance, SSAT/SAT/ACT), and all subjects in I/GCSE, A-levels, AP, IB, Pre-U.

We help students bridge to alternative curriculums that suit them the most. We proudly offer the One Year A-Level and University of London International Foundation Program.

We established ARCH Community Outreach, our non-profit charitable arm, whose mission is to broaden Hong Kong youths' exposure to international education opportunities.

For students aged 7-20, we provide programs to help students bridge their education gaps by leveraging on our breadth of offerings:

  • Enrichment Programs Courses to improve Critical Thinking, Speaking, Critical Reading and Writing programs
  • Admissions Guidance Preparation and guidance for admissions to US & UK & HK boarding schools and universities
  • Academic Tutoring Academic enhancement for students in international curriculums and standardized tests                 
  • University Foundation Collaboration with the University of London International Foundation Program
  • Careers Network Exposure to professional mentors to help students identify career paths

Despite rising admissions competition, we are happy to share our students’ record breaking results this year including outstanding achievements with scholarships!

Halfway through 2014, the year has already marked several milestones for ARCH. Whilst we all absolutely loved our boarding school experience, we also recognize the option may not be appropriate for all our students.

Given we are not placement agencies, we are able to provide objective guidance that is in-line with our students’ best interests. We also know our students well through our enrichment programs, and therefore are often able to advice on whether UK or US is more appropriate for potential jurisdiction choice.
