NEW: Oxbridge Tutorial Experience Programme

Posted On 07.08.2020 | New Offerings

It’s a pity many summer programs have been cancelled this year. But this does not stop us from helping students build their academic passion and profile - which is of importance for applications to top UK and US universities!

ARCH has invited 4 top professors from Oxford and Cambridge to deliver small group ‘Tutorial’ series online. This is an exclusive and highly valuable opportunity we are extending to our students who will gain an authentic experience of Oxbridge tutorial teaching online (akin to covid arrangement at both universities) as well as be able to develop their academic passion and profile ahead of university applications.

A certificate will be granted to participants, acknowledged by the professor him/herself.

Session 1: Mass Lecture (2 hours)
Professor will deliver an insightful lecture on the captioned topic, to inspire students to consider the many aspects of academic perspectives related to the topic. An assignment will be introduced towards the end of the session that will be completed by the end of the program.

Sessions 2-4: Small Group Tutorials to Address Assignment (6 hours)
Professor will lead students through the exploration of the topic by dissecting the analysis into different strands. Supporting materials will be provided and students will be encouraged to engage in small group discussions.
Session 5: Small Group Tutorials to Evaluate Assignment (2 hours)
Finale! Experience an authentic Oxbridge tutorial! Students will share their work with Professor for feedback and exchange of ideas!
