Our Team

Eric attended UC Berkeley, which holds one of the top English Literature departments in the United States. While at UC Berkeley, he graduated with honors and distinction, in addition to completing a minor in Greek Studies. Much of his scholarship focused on the development of journalistic and other writing styles found in nonfiction and how these styles came to define concise, efficient writing. Since his graduation, Eric has used his educational background in assisting students to develop communication and language skills necessary to succeed in elite institutions and later endeavors. 

Eric’s background in education spans a wide range of both students and programs, ranging from public non-profits to elite private tutoring. Drawing from this wide range of experience, he has developed programs to assist students in achieving their academic goals and admissions to elite universities such as Oxford, Columbia, UC Berkeley, Wharton, and others. In particular, Eric aims to help students improve their writing and analytical abilities to excel in demanding programs in both STEM and the humanities. For many years, Eric has worked as a guide for students as they attempt to navigate difficult canonical texts and arrive at meaningful conclusions in their research, and he hopes to aid students who have struggled with such material in the past and those who wish to further push themselves towards more advanced writing and analysis. 

At ARCH, Eric will be a specialist in guiding students through English language and literature. He will also support students that are preparing for publicly assessed tests used in the US and UK.

Eric’s hobbies include writing, running, hiking, and an assortment of artistic pursuits. Having completed the 2018 San Francisco Marathon, he now hopes to hike the PCT, a hiking trail that runs from the southern to the northern border of the American west coast.
