Our Team

Leizel completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Toronto. She then went on to graduate with Distinction from the University of Toronto where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in International Business. She also attended the University of Hong Kong on a yearlong Exchange Programme with the Faculty of Business & Economics. Since then, Leizel completed her TEFL certification and has been a certified English teacher based in Hong Kong. 

As a native English speaker from Toronto, Canada, Leizel gained international work experience as a Business Consultant for one of the Big Four consulting firms in Hong Kong. Her experience focused on process improvement and business transformation projects. She then decided to pursue a career in the education sector. She enjoys developing and teaching English curriculum and worked as an instructor at an education center providing engaging lessons in English reading and writing. Leizel also taught A/AS-Level and IB Economics. She has experience working with a wide range of students from the ages of 7 to 16 and from local and international school systems. She enjoys working closely with students to achieve their goals whether that is general improvement in English or preparation for overseas studies.

In her free time, Leizel enjoys doing some sports and activities such as: ice skating, snowboarding, basketball and hiking. She also enjoys trying new restaurants, travelling or relaxing with a good book. 

At ARCH, Leizel is an enrichment instructor focusing on primary age reading and writing programs.
